Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources CASE Institute

 

Description: Participants will experience hand-on activities, problems, and projects that explore aspects of agriculture including: plants, animals, natural resources, and agricultural mechanics. Participants will attend the institute as a “student” to better comprehend the content in which they are receiving. CASE curriculum incorporates cross-curricular opportunities with mathematics, science, reading, and writing into agriculture classes. In addition, the ASE curriculum enhances connections between the Supervised Agricultural Experience and FFA components of the agricultural classroom

Date- 7/17/2023- 7/25/2023 (5 days will be spent in person and 2 days will be spend online)

In-Person dates- 7/17/2023- 7/21/2023 (The institute will run from 8:00-5:00 with an hour long lunch break)

Virtual Dates- 7/24/2023-7/25/2023

Registration Fee: $3,000.

What’s Included in the Registration Fee: Registration fee includes housing, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and supplies for the program. Participants will also receive a lab-coat along with the resources needed to implement the CASE curriculum within their classroom. Participants will be able to access online versions of activities.

Housing: Suite style rooms with two participants per room. An individual may request for an individual room for an increased supplement. However, an individual room is not guaranteed.

How Do I pay? Paid through CASE institute. Credit Card, Check, Invoice. Payments must be made by June 1st, 2023

Cancellation Policy:

-       Full registration refund for cancellations before April 15th.

-        $200 Cancellation fee incurred for cancellations received later than April 15 but more than 30-days from the start date.

-       $1030 cancellation fee incurred for cancellations received within 30-days from the start date or participant is a no-show.

-       At their discretion, hosts may include an additional cancellation fee to recoup non-refundable costs
