Biography
Dr. Sravani Pasula, originally from Hyderabad, India, has an academic background in horticultural science and agricultural extension, with educational experiences in both India and the United States. As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, collaborating with Dr. Chin-Ling Lee, she studies the human dimensions of innovative agricultural technology adoption and supports integrative precision agriculture through workforce development and capacity building efforts that advance the effective use of data-driven and automated farming technologies.
Her scholarly interests focus on behavior change, innovation diffusion, and program development and evaluation, using theory-driven approaches to understand human decision making. She also examines how young people perceive agricultural career pathways, particularly in urban agriculture, and the factors that influence workforce interest and readiness across both traditional and emerging agricultural sectors.
