Faculty Travel Grants
In an effort to increase international collaboration on research and outreach projects, the Office of Global Programs at the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences has awarded its 2015 international travel grants for college faculty.

Georgia Peanut Tour
The annual Georgia Peanut Tour, held Sept. 16 to Sept. 18 in southeast Georgia, is a major attraction for the nation’s peanut industry, and attracts a number of international visitors.

Mycotoxins are harmful chemicals that are produced by fungi in crops like peanuts and corn. A group of agricultural scientists from across the world met in Georgia last month to discuss the need for more robust sampling and detection methods for these potentially lethal food toxins.
